Bittu and Muskan’s world was once limited to the narrow lanes of their neighborhood, where dreams seemed like a luxury. Their father toils in Delhi, sending home whatever little he earns, while their mother, with unwavering determination, leaves for work at 5 AM each day. She returns just in time to drop them at school, her eyes filled with both exhaustion and hope. She dreams of giving her children the education she never had—the key to a future beyond struggle.
With the support of Vandana Relief and Care Forum, that dream is now taking shape. Bittu and Muskan have been admitted to Saraswati Shishu Mandir, a private school where they are no longer just children of daily wage workers, but students with potential, curiosity, and ambition. Every evening, their mother waits anxiously for updates on their progress, her heart swelling with pride as they share what they learned that day. She knows that every lesson, every word they read, and every number they solve is a step toward breaking the cycle of poverty.

Vandana Relief and Care Forum was established in 2024 by a group of dedicated individuals who recognised the urgent need to address the critical issues affecting women and children in India.
The founders were deeply committed to creating a society where no one is left behind, particularly those who are most vulnerable, including survivors of rape and sexual violence. They believed that true progress is measured not just by economic growth, but by the well-being, dignity, and empowerment of all members of society.
